Buying renewed devices - Fine Print
Buy renewed devices and support the environment is a great commitment. You also need to make sure that you’re getting good quality and fulfilling your needs. The info below helps understand some of the terms we use and clarifies what you’re getting for your money. (In addition to the warm and fuzzies for supporting our sustainability goals <3).
Condition – We only sell renewed devices that we deem to be in “Excellent” condition after going through a 70 point checklist. Battery life is guaranteed to be at least 90% and the device will have as-new functionality. At worst, there will only be minor cosmetic blemishes on the device – a badge of pride to show you support a sustainable future.
Accident Cover – All our devices are sold with a standard manufacturer’s warranty of 12 months to cater for any related issues. You can buy Accident Cover at the time of purchase to extend this warranty for an additional 12 months, and to cover your device in case of accidental damage, including liquid spills. This also qualifies you for claim approval within 36 hours, device fixes in as little as 3 days and we’ll replace your device if it can’t be fixed. Once your claim is approved, a maximum of 10% of the purchase price will be charged for any repair or 20% for any replacement.
Delivery – In order to minimise our environmental footprint and the cost to you, we do not stockpile mountains of unused devices. Instead, we work towards making sure your device reaches your hands within a week of receiving payment.
